There are people who are arrogant about dating dozens if not hundreds of others. They think it shows how their masters, how best-selling them. You think you know what you can expect, you feel you already know the rules of the game, after all, you've done it a few times, so now you have another chance, another date, another person to be seen with just one easy!
But this is a lesson that you need to know: as long as you do a new date exactly the same way as previously, there is no reason to believe that at the end of the meeting you will be one step ahead of the previous date and have a better chance for something meaningful to be developed.
The reason is, if you feel that after going on a lot of dating, dating has become routine, one more person to be found, you do not give yourself a chance to really be there with attentive, really able to feel what is happening in between you and others. And that attitude is counterproductive to succeed in the development of serious intimacy.
